This month’s photo competition was all about abandoned buildings.
The Languedoc Photography Group submitted their entries, and we are pleased to announce the winners.
First place goes to Cathy Dumas for her photo of a mazet in the middle of some vines. Cathy said “This picture was taken during a hike with friends in Pouzolles, when we discovered this mazet in the vines. A mysterious atmosphere emerges from the place because even abandoned, nature having recovered its rights … you don’t want to forget to close the shutters when leaving!” The wonderful picture was taken with Cathy’s phone.
Second place goes to Georges Dedieu for his photo of the mill. Georges said “I live near this mill, and I have the opportunity to see it often under different skies, and what ever the time, it is always fascinating.”
If you want to take part in the next competition, you don’t have to be a professional photographer. Just join the Languedoc Photography Group and you’ll receive the instructions.
