2017 Domaine de l’Eglisette, Languedoc Blanc, Nuit Blanche – 8.70€

Domaine de l’Eglisette is a new estate, in the village of Moulés-et-Baucels,  making it one of the most northern estates of the Terrasses du Languedoc.

The first harvest was as recent as 2016.  The vines were originally with the cooperative in Corconne.

The blend of their white wine is 80% Grenache Blanc, with 18% Roussanne and just 2% Viognier, given an élevage of a few months in vat.   The palate is nicely rounded with satisfying mouthfeel and balancing acidity, offering easy drinking, either as an apéro or with a fish dish.
