Erasmus is not a UK priority to continue

Erasmus is a scheme which allows UK students to study around Europe.  The programme is a European Union student exchange programme established in 1987, and it has allowed hundreds of thousands of students to experience studying abroad.

The UK parliament have voted not to seek to negotiate to continue the Erasmus student exchange programme after Brexit.  Conservative MPs blocked a clause which would have required the government to negotiate the continuation of Erasmus.
