Fox causes Air France plane to be grounded in Toulouse

At nine o’clock on Wednesday, June 12, an Airbus Airbus A320 was about to take off from Toulouse Blagnac airport, destination Paris Orly.

The plane had just lifted its nose into the air, when the pilot noticed a fox disappearing into the engine.

The animal was completely caught up by the jet engine, and the pilot has forced to activate the controls to abandon the takeoff.  There was nothing left of the fox, and it was only the pilot’s testimony which made it possible to confirm that it was indeed a fox which had brought the plane to a standstill.
