France Alzheimer Hérault is organising free training for family carers as from 17 March.
Helping a person with Alzheimer’s disease, or someone who is suffering from a related disease, on a daily basis can be difficult, complex and exhausting. These family carers can quite simply be desperate for help.
Training specifically for family caregivers will begin from Tuesday, 17 March from 2:15pm to 5:15 pm at the France Alzheimer Hérault association, located at 3 rue Pagézy in Montpellier.
This completely free training provides better knowledge of the disease and lots of practical advice for families. There are 5 modules of 3 hours each, and they are run by a professional neuropsychologist and a volunteer both trained specifically for this.
