Mayor of Saint-André-de-Valborgne teases angry Parisians

The mayor of Saint-André-de-Valborgne, Gard, has put up a sign at the entrance of the village to warn visitors and tourists that they might hear sounds of the countryside.

“Bells that ring, cockerels that sing, tractors which make a noise”.  He warns visitors that if they don’t like those sorts of sounds, they are in the wrong place!

This action comes after a series of high profile cases of holiday making Parisians complaining of too much noise in the countryside.
