After the violent aggression towards a teacher in Agde on September 30, the mother and grandmother were presented to the Béziers public prosecutor’s office. They will be tried on March 4, 2020.

Pending the trial, the two women were placed under judicial control.

The mother is accused of violence; the grandmother, for death threats against a person in charge of a public service. They could incur up to 3 years in prison and 45,000 euros in fines.

The two women, who acknowledged the accusations, were placed under judicial control and are forbidden to enter the school where the incident occurred and to contact the teacher.

They finally say they regret their behaviour and want to apologise to the complainant.

A video was recorded showing the violent behaviour of the two women.  The subject of the argument, a six year-old child, had apparently been involved in a fight at school, and the teacher had ended the fight.  The two women accused the teacher of mistreating the boy.
