If you are planning to organise your proxy vote for the British general elections, you need to act soon.
If you’re not governed by the 15 year rule (you are not allowed to vote if you have been out of the UK for 15 years or more), then you need to organise your proxy vote by these deadlines:
5pm on Tuesday November 26 if you are changing an existing proxy vote;
5pm on Wednesday December 4 if you have not had either a proxy or postal vote before.
If you are intending to organise a proxy vote, you should be registered as an overseas voter with your last UK constituency.
You can also submit your application to be registered and request a proxy vote at the same time. More details at this link.
