Batches of pumpkin soup are being recalled due to “a lack of sterile conditions”.

The Liebig soup, called velouté de potiron is made by European group Continental Foods.

If you have a one litre or two litre packet, with the numbers J225 or J226, with the barcodes of 3036810350278 or 3036811357764, and a use-by date of 11/2020, you should not consume it, and you should take it back to the original point of sale for a refund or an exchange.

A helpline number has been set up for anyone wishing to find out more information about the recall, on 09 69 32 06 91.
