Ryanair keeps passengers waiting for seven hours to get to London

Nîmes to London Ryanair passengers were kept waiting for hours with no information on Wednesday.

180 passengers boarded the 10:50am flight to London, and waited for more than an hour and a half before being taken off the plane and back into the airport.

There was a technical problem caused by a bird, which necessitated an engineer from Germany to inspect the plane.

“We went fishing for information ourselves because we were not told anything,” said passenger Christian, who was on his way to watch The Who at Wembley.  “They had to fetch an engineer from Germany to check the plane.  At 5:30pm, we learnt that finally we could embark having spent a total of seven hours waiting in the plane and then in the terminal,” he added.
