Skeleton of missing man found in a Béziers hospital carpark

The skeleton of a missing patient was found in a hedge near a Béziers hospital carpark on Saturday.

The patient had disappeared from the hospital in October 2018, and workers who were removing the hedge made the grizzly discovery in La Devèze.

The missing man was born in 1965, and he was being treated for a serious illness at the hospital.  He went missing on 25 October.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, and further investigation will likely confirm the identity of the deceased man in the coming days.
