A homeless man from Montpellier sleeps outside the courthouse, and is generally tolerated by the magistrates.  He is peaceful, doesn’t drink, and has two dogs.

One morning a magistrate asked him why he was crying, and he told him that his dog had been stolen.  The magistrate encouraged him to complain to the police.

The police at the Place de la Comédie watched video surveillance footage, and identified the thieves who had pulled up in their car, and stole the sleeping man’s dog.

“I did not believe it, I would never have thought that my dog would be found and especially so fast,” said Robert Szazs,, with a smile.  “I am very happy, I do not know who intervened but I thank all those who helped to find Maya “.
