Will Occitanie adopt camera fine system that was deemed a success?

An Alsace city is going to make a camera fine system permanent after the success of the trial.

There are talks of Montpellier and Béziers adopting the same system.

Strasbourg started the trial in 2018, where fines were automatically issued based on cameras catching drivers parking illegally, blocking bus and cycle lanes, and double parking outside shops.

Officials from Strasbourg said that the experiment had been so successful that they are adopting the system permanently.
